Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan № 523 "On measures for further transformation of joint-stock commercial mortgage Bank "Ipoteka-Bank" and its subsequent privatization with the participation of the International financial Corporation" was adopted on June 25, 2019.
As part of the ongoing reforms on the part of JSCIB "Ipoteka-Bank" implemented a number of activities aimed at enhancing corporate governance effectiveness and investment attractiveness of the Bank, in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation, as well as the study of the possibility of attracting loans and investment of IFC in the equity capital of Ipoteka-Bank.
The possible inclusion of IFC as a shareholder, as well as the process of transformation of Ipoteka Bank, implies a further reorientation of the Bank's activities to maximize financial performance and the introduction of a modern business model, taking into account international best practices.
