We know that environmental issues are becoming increasingly crucial to humanity and that attention to the environment is increasing. Currently, Uzbekistan is carrying out several reforms and measures to improve the ecosystem in general, protect nature, use resources wisely, and instill the concept of not being indifferent to the environment in people’s minds. Ipoteka Bank has been participating in various initiatives organized based on such programs.
Recently, our employees completed 72-hour refresher courses organized by the Center for Retraining and Advanced Training of Employees Working in Environmental Protection under the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During the training course, experienced teachers provided our staff with theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in various fields related to the environment and the social sphere. We believe that this, in turn, will help the employees of Ipoteka Bank to work in this direction, relying on more extensive experience and knowledge.
During the training courses, our employees improved their knowledge and skills in the following topics:
- Systematic organization of ecological education process;
- Legal basis of ecology and environment protection;
- Legal regulation of ecological relations, implementation of the mechanism of state and public management;
- Effective use of the ecological standardization system;
- Ensuring ecological expertise, ecological standardization, and ecological safety;
- Coordination and control of work related to waste;
- Environmental protection, rational use of natural resources in ecology and economy;
- Making payments for environmental damage and settling claims;
- Protection of atmospheric air, land and water resources, underground resources, flora and fauna and their rational use;
- Implementation of state, departmental, and industrial environmental control;
- Carrying out reforms aimed at creating a green economy;
- Environmental certification and environmental audit;
- Environmental monitoring, climate change, and analytical analysis;
- Organization and monitoring of the nationwide project "Yashil Makon" (Green Space) and increasing the effectiveness of reforms aimed at the green economy;
- Environmental control and the procedure for its implementation.
In conclusion, during the training, our employees received necessary knowledge and skills related to this field of activity. Moreover, we will continue this activity in the future. It is also worth emphasizing that Ipoteka Bank is introducing several innovations in the environmental and social sphere based on European standards, and we believe that this will bear fruit in the future.
