Where can I check the current exchange rates at Ipoteka bank?

Current exchange rates of Ipoteka bank — including USD, EUR, RUB, GBP and JPY — are available on the “Exchange Rates” page of the Bank’s website, in the Ipoteka Retail mobile application, and on information boards at the Bank’s branches. To check rates and terms for a specific channel (branch / ATM / mobile app), it is recommended to use the mobile application.

Why may the website rate differ from the rate at the time of exchange/conversion?

The rate displayed on the website is for informational purposes and may be shown with a delay. In addition, rates may differ depending on the channel (branch, ATM, mobile application). During exchange or conversion, the actual rate of the selected channel at the time of the transaction applies

What is the difference between “branch”, “ATM”, and “mobile app” rates?

These rates apply to different transaction channels. Depending on whether the transaction is performed at a branch cash desk, via an ATM, or in the Ipoteka Retail mobile application, different conditions and rate values may apply. For convenience, the exchange rate page includes a channel selector. Choose the desired option to view the current rates for USD, EUR, RUB, and other currencies specifically for that transaction method.

What do “buy” and “sell” mean in the exchange rate table?

Buy — the rate at which the Bank purchases foreign currency from a client (when you sell currency to the Bank). Sell — the rate at which the Bank sells foreign currency to a client (when you buy currency from the Bank).

What is the “CB rate” and how does it differ from the Bank’s buy/sell rates?

The CB rate is the official reference rate set by the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Ipoteka Bank’s buy/sell rates for USD, EUR, RUB, and other currencies are commercial rates used for transactions. They may differ from the CB rate and include the spread between buying and selling rates.
